Strengthen our hands

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Let your hands be strong.'” -Zechariah 8:9   Last night, as I lay in our new hotel room, shaking and dizzy and nauseous because of the toxins in this place, I cried out […]

Fresh Vigor

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is God from of old, Creator of the earth from end to end, He never grows faint or weary, His wisdom cannot be fathomed. He gives strength to the weary, fresh vigor to the spent. Youths may grow faint and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but they who trust in the LORD shall renew their strength as eagles grow new plumes: They shall run and not grow weary, they shall March and not grow faint.”  -Isaiah 40:28-31 VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  Friends, We continue to wait for the right place to open up. We are spent. We need fresh vigor, as the verse says above. We are diligent in our search.  Wearied, yet still hopeful. Will you continue to wait with us in hope? We trust that there is a place where I can heal.  We are not sure it is in Sedona.  We are patiently going to pursue rentals here until this weekend, and then consider moving on from Arizona to California. We do sincerely pray that it will be clear where we should plunk ourselves down.  So far, no place to plunk has revealed itself. So…waiting is hard, […]

Unknowns

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Have no fear of moving into the unknown.  Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I (God) am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well.  Do this in complete faith and confidence.” -Pope John Paul II Friends, Our life is full of unknowns right now.  Yet, at our core, we are very, very well.  Life feels a bit prickly right now, but that is to be expected in the wilderness. We have spent the last several days traveling from Phoenix to Green Valley to Sonoita (pronounced sew-NOY-tuh), to Sedona.  Whew!  We are regrouping in Sedona for the next few days, as the last few days have felt quite chaotic, with no room to cook or do laundry or really rest much at all (hence our lack of blog posts over the last few days). Below are some questions and answers to some basic questions you might ask if you could sit and chat with us. HOW DID YOU (MARIAH) FEEL IN THESE PLACES? VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  I did not feel good in Green Valley at all. I did not feel well in Sonoita either. The Phoenix and Tucson areas are highly problematic for people with CIRS, as […]

Goodbye, Prescott.

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment.”  -Rumi Friends, Thank you for standing alongside us on this journey. We, together with our realtor, looked in Prescott, AZ, at rentals today. Nothing worked. They were either water damaged, in a construction zone, right near power lines (EMFs can really affect the immune system of CIRS patients), in the middle of a busy neighborhood, or priced too high. VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  So, as Rumi invited us to do, we will sell our cleverness and buy bewilderment. We leave Prescott in faith and in trust that the Lord has a different place for us. We are not back at square one, for we have learned so much already, but there is much more to learn. Tonight we sleep in a hotel, with a bed, in the city. Tomorrow we will consider whether an RV might be an option for us while we are in Arizona. Typically, RVs are very challenging to keep mold-free and they are built of highly toxic materials, so please pray however God leads as you pray for us. Still we trust that “gladness and joy will overtake us. Sorrow snd sighing will flee away.” (Isaiah 51:11) With Trust, Mariah and Travis […]

Delight.

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.  Roll your path on the Lord.  Trust on him and he will do it.”  Psalm 37:4-5 Friends, We have many thoughts in our heads. […]

From moldy beds to new cots

VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:18 Friends, Let’s talk about mattresses. They are often moldy, water damaged, and the new ones are almost always treated with flame retardants, which are highly toxic. The bed we slept on the first night in this particular air BnB was moldy, for sure! It’s also a full size bed, and if you have looked at Travis lately, you might imagine we don’t fit on a full sized bed all too well. We discovered that the hosts of this property had a queen-sized bed they could bring it in for us to sleep on. We were so excited! Then we saw the bed. This “new” bed was totally water damaged! Augh!  What were we to do? We are staying in a place that is not healthy for me while we seek out rentals in Prescott (even Travis doesn’t feel good here, because mold affects everyone). VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE: Please go to this link to read how I have recovered my health using The Dynamic Neural Retraining System (DNRS)!  We did what any desperate CIRS family would do! We went to the store and bought cots and sleeping bags and camped out in the living room of our Air BnB.     We seem […]
